Tribute To Our 2020 FCC Graduates

                                   Our Graduates

“Be bold, be courageous, be your best.” Gabrielle Giffords

“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe.” Anatole France

“Fall forward. Every failed experiment is one step closer to success.  You’ve got to take the risks.” Denzel Washington

“You don’t have a job? Get one. Any job! Don’t sit at home waiting for the magical opportunity. Do something until you can do something else.” Shonda Rhimes

“Your education is a dress rehearsal for a life that is yours to lead.” Nora Ephron

“Intelligence plus character-is that is the goal of true education.” Martin Luther King, Jr.

“The fireworks begin today. Each diploma/degree is a lighted match. Each one of you is the fuse.” Edward Koch

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you: he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid: do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

You all are now on new and different paths.  The Lord has gifted and equipped each of you with knowledge to further your career paths. You must make the choice(s) of the path(s) that will lead you to success.  Life for you is different with so many distractions. Don’t let the distractions move you away from continuing to strive for excellence.  For some of you the job market is uncertain and unpredictable, but do not stray. Stay faithful to the Lord and he will see you through. Do not allow others to turn your dreams into nightmares. God has planned an exceptional future for each one of you. Stay on his path and the light will get brighter and you will be able to see the successes HE has in store for you. Your church family loves you and is excited about your accomplishments.  The world has many offers, so now it is up to you to make the offers work in your favor.

Keep a positive attitude in all that you do. The best is yet to come, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”
