“COME AS YOU ARE”
FCC COMMUNITY YOUTH FORUM
The First Congregational Church, 2410 Creech Road, Raleigh, NC convenes a Community Youth Forum every 3rd Sunday at 4 pm. The forum will be held at the Church on a monthly basis to listen, discuss issues and help youth fulfill their goals and career ambitions.
The purpose of the Community Youth Forum is to intentionally reach out to all youth in our community and provide a safe and open opportunity to discuss the issues youth and young adults face today. FCC Youth Director William Walker (retired educator) served in the Raleigh School system over 35 years and will be leading this vital ministry effort. In addition, the Community Youth Forum is a strategic outreach to youth in our community and needs the loving support of a caring community.
Dr. M. R. Smith, Sr., Pastor of FCC has always shared a burden to reach out to the youth in our community. Pastor Smith says, “The Church must take the initiative to reach out to the churched, unchurched, and troubled youth in our community. The First Congregational Church is seeking to reach out and be a blessing to our youth and young adults in these socially violent and confusing times.”
FCC invites all youth/young adults to the Community Youth Forum to be encouraged in fulfilling your dreams by reaching their God-given potential.
